Inspired by the Asian gamelan sound, I felt like having a go at creating a similar sound with my electric guitar.

So one day, sat on the floor with my electric guitar face up on my lap, surrounded by a variety of household 'instruments' I spent a mad 20 minutes improvising and responding to delays and reverbs with chopsticks, a knife and two spoons, and this is the result.

A bit hectic, but followed through to the end provides a journey with a resolution!

Improvised and recorded in one take with no overdubs on the 1st March 2015.

All sounds created with an electric guitar, chopsticks, a knife, two spoons, reverb and delay.

A delicate melody, a psychedelic swirl, a lilting accent, a filter of electronics.
